From mood board ➡️ to home. 🤍

Here’s a peek at the finish palette coming together for 1 Three Oaks Villas!

For this new construction home, the goal was a look that feels fresh, warm and coastal without being overly “beachy.” A mix of light finishes, natural warmth, darker contrast and classic details creates a home that feels current—but still timeless.

I love putting all of the selections together on a mood board because this is where you really get to see the whole house story before everything is installed.

And now comes the fun part… watching it all come to life. 🏡✨

Well… we did it. 🤍🏡

Remember when I asked: paint the brick or leave it natural?

The decision has officially been made—and we went WHITE. 🤍

This home is still under construction, but seeing the fresh white brick with the dark Iron Ore fascia and soffits completely changed the exterior. It feels brighter, cleaner, and gives it that relaxed modern coastal look I was hoping for.

And this is exactly why I love the design process. Sometimes you have to see the options, play with the colors, second-guess yourself a few times 😂… and then finally just go for it.

From DESTINATION ➜ DESIGN

Every great design starts with inspiration.

While exploring Athens, I found myself paying attention to more than the famous landmarks. I noticed the weathered stone, the soft blue-green waters, the warm neutral architecture, and the way history and modern life blend so effortlessly together.

As I looked back through my photos, I realized they all shared a common feeling—timeless, welcoming, and beautifully balanced.

So I challenged myself to capture that feeling in a living room.

The result isn't meant to recreate Athens. It's meant to recreate the emotions I experienced there: warmth, tranquility, texture, and effortless elegance.

Travel has a way of changing how we see the world. Sometimes it even changes how we design our homes.

One of the things I loved most about Greece was how every place seemed to inspire a different feeling. From colorful flowers and breathtaking beaches to seaside restaurants and mountain views, every stop offered ideas that could be translated into beautiful interiors.

This dining room was inspired by those moments.

Soft coastal blues, natural stone textures, warm neutrals, and organic elements come together to create a space that feels relaxed, inviting, and timeless—bringing a little piece of the Mediterranean home.

Inspired by Athens: Living Room Concept

When most people think of Greece, they picture bright blue domes and whitewashed villages.

What I loved most about Athens was the balance between ancient stone, warm neutrals, and touches of blue woven throughout the city.

For this living room concept, I pulled inspiration from weathered limestone, historic architecture, Lake Vouliagmeni's beautiful blue-green waters, and the soft blues that seem to appear throughout the city.

The palette combines layered beige and stone tones with muted blues to create a space that feels timeless, relaxed, and connected to its surroundings.

One thing I learned while traveling: great design doesn't always come from bold colors or expensive finishes. Sometimes it's simply about creating harmony between materials, textures, and light.
