Our family dream is coming true… just down the yellow brick road. Stonecutter Arts studio & gallery is opening its doors this May in the heart of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
The Steinke family welcomes you to join our art classes for all ages, workshops, gallery nights, and community events. Whether you’re a curious beginner, a seasoned maker, or just looking for a joyful place to create, there’s a seat at the table for you.
Led by Angela Steinke — a lifelong artist and dedicated educator with over 40 years of K–12 and adult teaching experience in pottery, painting, and the visual arts — our classes are designed to inspire creativity at every age and skill level. At Stonecutter Arts, we believe art brings people together, sparks joy, and helps us uncover the beauty within ourselves and our community.
Our name, Steinke, means “stonecutter”—a nod to both our family’s roots and the creative process we love. Like Michelangelo, who saw the form waiting to be revealed inside the stone, we’re passionate about helping others discover and express their own creativity.
