Reposting - This time of year is important to keep your floors clean due to the water, salt and dirt. I was asked about the safest method for cleaning floors. I will provide this information in two parts. We have found that utilizing a dust mop in conjunction with a vacuum equipped with a t-attachment is highly effective. I recently discovered an exceptional vacuum, the Prolux 2.0 TECH, which has proven to be versatile and efficient. The device's backpack design enables effortless maneuverability, making it ideal for various settings, including boats, basements, and confined spaces. Its impressive suction power and ease of maintenance are notable advantages. It is essential to avoid using vacuums with brushes, as they can scratch floors.

Hello, on a chilly day in Wisconsin, we are curious to know how you maintain clean floors during the winter months. Are there any particular flooring challenges you face? For us, managing humidity levels is a significant concern. Do you use a hygrometer or humidifier? Given our older furnace, it is vital to maintain a humidity level between 35-50 while it operates. Failure to do so can result in split floorboards and adverse health effects, such as sinus infections. Please feel free to share this information with others if possible. We are here to provide assistance with any wood flooring questions you may have.
