Kind of ironic a Brit is making a transport box for one of only two instruments made to be played in the civil war here in the United states.
One of the instruments apparently only survived and this box will be transporting it around the country or wherever it may be.
The surviving instrument was attached to the only African American branch during this time.
Now to start the carving process of the actual only photograph found of the battalion holding the instrument being played while marching to battle.
It's actually a honor to be trusted with this project.
I will post more as I near completion of this.
