This year I’m really holding myself to finishing the pieces that have been calling to me the longest 🌊🐚

This abalone and ivory breastplate has been a vision in progress for a while now, and I’m finally bringing it across the finish line. I’m calling this piece “Ivory Ocean Dream.”

Made with layers of shimmering abalone shell 🐚, cow elk ivories, bull elk ivories, and red deer stag ivories, this piece carries both ocean and land, energy, strength, and balance. Every shell and ivory has its own story, its own energy, and bringing them together has been a slow, intentional process.

There’s still a little more work to do I need to add a few more bull elk ivories and finish it off with leather but I wanted to share where it’s at right now. This piece has been teaching me patience, focus, and trust in the process.
