Today was our first day of work from home and it went pretty well other than a couple interludes of screaming children in the middle of video-conference calls 😂😂 Anybody else have a funny working from home story?

LAMP REVAMP • The overwhelming majority of you voted for the concrete-look finish so here she is!! Swipe ➡️ to see the close up and the before!!

Want to replicate?! I spray painted this lamp with Glacier Gray in a matte finish, then coated it with a mixture of garden lime from , water, and 1 or 2 tablespoons of black craft paint. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then wiped away excess carefully to get an even finish 🙌 I hope I made Whitney and .daily proud! They are the OG lamp revampers, Whitney with a limewash which is what I used and modified slightly for a different look and Jaci with the mud treatment ✨ Thanks so much to those fab ladies for the inspiration!!

I have teamed up with some fabulous ladies to show you how you can thrift a lamp and make it fit today’s styles. Those 80’s lamps are just screaming for some mud, plaster, spray paint, and lime wash. Go check out the other amazing transformations on their accounts:

DIY SPRING PLANTER • what are your favorite stems to use in the spring?! These cherry blossoms are from and they are SO pretty 🌸

This vase was the third piece I tried the .daily DIY mud treatment on and it is by far my favorite! Here’s the evolution of my process: vase 1 - not enough texture and mud not wet enough; vase 2 - texture was good but could have used more/wetter mud; vase 3 - good texture and this time I literally dug a hole in the ground, put the hose in and watered the hole for a minute or two, then stirred it up to make the mud really goopy and wet 😂 Then I rubbed it on really thick and let it dry before wiping it off to leave this looking like a historic find 🙌 Oh and if you’re not from Oklahoma, our dirt is RED and so that is a special “Oklahoma” finish for ya!

Guess what we did this afternoon?! Sat in freezing cold pouring rain for flag football! ‘Tis the season 🤦‍♀️

In other news I think I landed on the final resting spot (for now) for my Over the Moor III print from 🖤 (gifted) and I am so happy with how it looks in this frame in this little corner 👏🏻 Her prints are all beautiful and come in a range of sizes 👌🏻

Anyone else sit through bad weather for sports this weekend?!
