— The width of your styrene sheet will be the height of your finished lampshade.
— The length will be the diameter of your finished shade, multiplied by π (3.14), plus an additional inch for the overlap.
— For example, if you want your finished shade to be 10 inches high with a 10 inch diameter, your styrene sheet will need to be 10 inches wide by 32.5 inches long ((10 x 3.14) + 1).

1) Spray a very light mist of spray adhesive onto the back of your stencil.
2) Use a ruler to position your stencil correctly, then press down firmly to ensure it sticks to the surface.
3) Apply paint, ensuring you don't overload your sponge or brush. Dab off any excess paint before applying it to your stencil.
4) Remove your stencil. Slow and steady wins the race — start in one corner and carefully peel it back.

Some bottles are destined to become light fixtures. Our acclaimed Bottle Lamp Kit comes with everything you need to turn a keepsake bottle of liquor or champagne into a gorgeous lamp. Follow the 4 easy steps outlined below — the pre-wired socket ensures anyone can create a fully functional lamp in just a few minutes!

1) Choose the rubber adapter that best fits the neck of your bottle — screw this adapter onto the steel threaded pipe, followed by the washer.

2) Add the check ring (the disc which will cover the top of the bottle) on top of the washer.

3) Loosen the set screw on the socket and screw it onto the exposed ni**le.
