A little alcohol marker doodle I drew while in therapy 🩵 this too shall pass?.. as most people say during hard times, but when you live with chronic illness and mental illness, there really is no end hence why I added a question mark. Life has been beating me down lately. I’m honestly having the worst time right now. I’m not posting this to complain or seek pity but rather to let others know that if your are feeling like this too, you’re not alone. Mentally, I’m having a hard time. Physically, I’m having an even worse time. After years of trying to push through pain and mental turmoil, it’s all come crashing down at the same time and I’m struggling to do more than a few tasks every day 🥲 I feel so stuck, sad, and a little hopeless. It’s a constant battle between having a good physical day but then feeling mentally unwell OR feeling good mentally but being bed ridden from terrible pain. I dream of the days I can go out in the sun, walk with no pain, eat a full meal without getting sick, actually dress up and do my hair, and start living again but until that day, I will be here in the fetal position. Thanks for listening everyone 💜 I hope to one day be well enough to make some more cat houses and fun crafts for your enjoyment again 🌷

I went on a “color walk” yesterday! Wore a burnt orange tank top so I tried to find similar colors while I was out and about. My mind RACES sometimes when I’m on my walks because of my adhd so it can be frustrating to go on a walk instead of relaxing. I was surprised to find that when I was actively looking around at everything trying to find the color orange, my brain had a task and my thoughts quieted a little. It was honestly really nice and surprisingly therapeutic so I will definitely be doing this again 🧡🍊🥕🍑🐱
