Here are the finished products made from wormy butternut: a decorative serving tray featuring rustic, hand-forged handles and a decorative tray riser.

Brian at Lakeshore Hardwoods had four wormy butternut pieces that kept calling my name! Not only were they filled with wormholes, but they were also p***y in several spots. This called for my first use of TotalBoat penetrating epoxy. Stay tuned, as I’ll review the finished products tomorrow!
