You ever have a craft idea so brilliant in your head that you convince yourself you might actually be a creative genius?

That was me.
Yesterday.

I thought, “What if I make the title letters look like a coral reef?” So I pulled out the glitter glue, the shell-shaped sequins, some blind confidence, and a prayer.

And what I created…was not a coral reef. It was a reef wreck! It looked like glitter vomited on Elmer’s glue and then a mermaid tried to cover it up with shame.

My fingers were fused together.
My table looked like a glittery war crime.
The letters? Tragic.

So I did what any self-respecting crafter would do. I threw it in the trash and started over. And this time? Oh, baby. I nailed it. Mermaid School Keepsake Journal drops SOON — and this version? She sparkles strategically.
