When I’m deep into testing a new batch of fresh candles, my logbook is always open beside me 👯♀️
Every page is a running record of the process: which wax I used, the temperature I poured at, what wick size I tried, and how each test candle burned over time.
I’ve learned that the smallest details—like a few degrees difference in the room or a tweak in fragrance load—can totally change the outcome 🤭
Writing it all down means I can actually repeat my successes (and avoid repeating my failures).
If you’re experimenting with new recipes or troubleshooting issues, keeping a thorough log isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. There’s nothing worse than stumbling on a perfect formula and not remembering exactly how you got there. Consistent documentation is how you turn happy accidents into reliable results.
