I worked with a very talented couple that remodeled this old home into a warm and functional space. I met with them and we came up with a whole new layout for the home. By moving the stairs from the middle of the house we created a larger living room, primary bedroom, and family room in the basement. We also move the kitchen to the back of the house creating a more open floor plan. Every part of this house was touched and they did the work themselves. So proud of them.

This kitchen area used to be enclosed but we opened it up to the living room and dining room, added a large pantry and bar between the the kitchen and the game room. They liked clean lines and a little more modern style and chose these sleek cabinets and beautiful quartz.

This client loves color and we went for it. The wallpaper that she loved looks so good in this powder room. It is so fun.
Blue was the star in the primary bathroom.
In her closet she wanted to keep her existing dresser, so we built it in. It turned out really good. Don't be afraid to mix old and new together.

I was lucky enough to help design a new law office for Spooner and Staggs. They wanted their space to be comfortable for meetings, visiting attorneys and clients having to be on site for depositions. They have informed me that it is working out just the way we planed. I am so excited for them and their future in their new office.
We were able to reuse some of their existing furniture, then added new furniture and design details to pull it all together. In the reception area we painted the existing reception desk and added a new top. We also had the frame from the existing signage made into a mirror. The benches and the buffets in the conference room were existing, so we created a wall detail that had all the different colors in it and added maple to brighten everything up. We carried the color theme throughout and added Northwest photos to finish it off.

With this remodel the existing kitchen was located by the back door and felt cramped. We moved the kitchen to where the dining room was and turned an existing bathroom into a walk in pantry and small bath. The wood wall was existing, so we worked with this and created a space that functioned better for the family.

Attics can turn into fun spaces. With the addition of a couple of dormers a large Main bedroom was created in this home in Tacoma with with a view of the water. The bathroom was created in the existing portion of the space. Even with the sloped roof we were able to design a fun space that works.
