Here's one thing we're pretty sure nobody has ever said: “I wish buying lumber involved more walking.” So at HomeBuilt, it won't. Drive into the covered lumberyard and we'll get your lumber loaded and on your way without you lifting a board.

If you've ever carried a stack of 2x4s across a parking lot, this one's for you.

Why Orem?
Because you build things. Homes. Businesses. Beautifully designed rooms. Painted trim that looked a lot easier when you watched the tutorial video.

Some of you do it for a living. Some of you are figuring it out as you go. Either way, it helps to have someone who can point you in the right direction when the project gets interesting.

Onward and upward!
We broke ground this morning on the first HomeBuilt in Orem.
Over the next year, this site will become something we've spent a lot of time thinking about: a home improvement store that works just as well for someone who knows exactly what they need as it does for someone who could use a little help figuring it out.
We've got a lot to build. And a lot more to show you.

For 100 years, Clyde Companies has been building in Utah, with roots in hardware and building materials dating back to 1937. Now, with HomeBuilt, we're building the next chapter on a site with plenty of history of its own.
