time has been slipping quickly the last few weeks. I truly can't make sense of time.
i long for the weekends to create, and the time just melts away. i have so much i want to create, and there will never be enough time. i have all of the ideas one could possibly hold. ♡
It'll happen. it will.

this is the first piece of art in the home this hangs in. first holes drilled in the new build. and i hope their space feels a bit more like home now. ♡

the first blonde piece in this style. i dove right back into the deep dibs deco diamonds. i also inlayed the emerald additions, and the stark spike angles. i feel at home with this direction. and nothing feels better than home.

i had to add the last image. it is the very first piece i created for myself about 8 years ago. side by side with where this art has taken me. or rather, I have taken it. both are true, really.

It's safe to say I poured a lot of heart in to this piece. My 3rd of this magnitude in size. But by far my most complex and explorative piece. It felt so good to dream up and slowly, methodically, pull together. What began as a small lotus... evolved... and came to life.
Here she is in all her glory. My heart is full.

And yes, I still suck at reels.

Sneak peek of a piece I am making for a dear friend. She has had a rough couple of years and deserves a pick-me-up.
I don't have riches or wealth. But I have lots of love to give.
And I love putting that love in to tangible things I can gift. So, here's a sneak peek of the next piece on my workbench.

Sooooo, I might just have a crush on blending elements of Art Deco with Rustic Modern aesthetics. I am leaning hard in this direction, if you haven't already noticed.
I feel like a tide is turning in my style. And though I'm still being true to ME and my not so subtle use of arches and diamonds... I feel like the flow is just, well, working.
This is one of my favorite pieces to date. Truly.
