The Historic Pacifica Municipal Pier structural damage on June 4, 2026 led to demolition today of popular cafe, the Chit Chat. The Pacifica Municipal Pier, built in 1973, is crumbling under the pressure of the powerful and erosive Pacific surf, leading to a local emergency. This is a devastating loss to owners, Ginger Davis and Brendan Jenkins. Please support their other location at 5 W Manor Dr, Pacifica.
