Always fun to attend the ASID trade show, run into old friends and make new ones! Please bring it closer to Bergen County next year!

I would like to propose that our amazing community of talented and skilled architects, designers and builders band together to offer any assistance that the thousands of people devastated by hurricane Sandy may need to help rebuild.

We can all do our part by volunteering our time and services, organizing clean up, helping them acquire new materials and furniture at discounted prices, simply helping them put a plan of action together and help get things in motion.

I would like to possibly get Lowe's Home Improvement, The Home Depot and other large and small corporations on board to donate materials and try to help bring normalcy to these people's lives by giving them the hope of getting back into their homes as soon as possible.

Please let me know if you would like to help organized this movement on both a national & local level. We can use all the help we can get!

I have already reached out to Houzz.com and am certain that with Houzz on board we are sure to get the word out quickly and have some great people join in on our effort.
