I am so thankful for the friends and family of friends and even strangers that have shared our post for our lost puppy. He is still missing. What most don’t know is Gus saved Tate’s life last summer when he tripped him on accident and revealed an abscess that was pushing on his cervical spine. The fall created a loss of motion and narrowing of his air way. He had emergency surgery and healed in time to show his horse in the World Finals and National High School competition which was less than two weeks later.
In the loss, I am finding peace knowing he served a purpose. God always has a purpose. We have all found ourselves grieving and wishing he would just show up. We had invested a lot into this pup.
This is last Friday when we picked him up from the trainer. This what their reunion looked like. He loved Tate and Tate loved him. Please keep sharing and looking out for our Gus. So many sweet friends have shared verses with me to remind me that Jesus knows of our broken hearts and he knows where Gus is too. My Dad being a welder lost several dogs in his lifetime and he always found them !! Even weeks later. I am praying Gus is alive and a good cowboy has him enjoying all the new tricks he has to show. I am keeping the hope !
Please keep sharing !!
“Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”
Psalms 42:11 AMP
