The most wonderful time of the year is coming, and we are excited to officially announce the 2026 Annual Chipley Christmas Festival & Parade!

Friday, December 11, 2026
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We’re gearing up for another wonderful evening filled with vendor shopping, delicious food trucks, festive activities, community fun, and all the excitement of our traditional Christmas Parade!

Our Christmas Tree Decorating Contest is also returning for its 2nd year, bringing even more Christmas spirit and creativity to our community.

Be watchful of our upcoming posts! Vendor registration, food truck information, parade sign-ups, contest details, and everything you need to be part of the 2026 Chipley Christmas Festival will be shared soon.

I think you can tell how bad I feel by how much makeup I put on knowing that I am just going to sweat it off. It’s like I’m over compensating. I feel really crummy today and unfortunately did not get the early early early start I was hoping to get but I’m still here an hour earlier than yesterday so that’s good. We will see what I can get done. It shouldn’t take me too very long because mapping things out and figuring out what colors to make them usually takes me the longest and that part is already done the base code is done the base color is done on a half of it so now it’s just doing base color on the other half of the window and then details on everything. I think I can do it. I have faith in me. lol.

Look who very reluctantly made it out of bed and is heading to work! Leaving the puppy is harder than I thought it would be. I might have to invest in a dog sitter to at least check in half way through the work day. 😅
Please ignore my eyebrows. I tried something new and it did not work but unfortunately the new thing involved staining so I could not get them off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Looks like I’ll be trying to create some art from home again today. Had a bit of a catastrophe last night and as a result I got absolutely no sleep so well I’m feeling better I just don’t feel like an hour drive is probably in my best interest plus my tummy is mad. Ugh. One. More. Day. Jeezowie.
It’s 2026, why have we not invented teleporting yet? I’ve got work to doooo!

I swear I become more and more of an opossum every day. Chonky, addicted to junk food, and nocturnal. I sleep so easily once the sun comes up and forced myself to stay awake all day today…. Errr… yesterday… to reset my schedule… but no… wide awake at midnight and now I have to be up in 2 hours. So I guess I’m just staying up again? 🙃

Jacob and Opal met their first turtle today… and Penelope stepped on it because she’s blind as a bat and didn’t know what all the fuss was about. 😂😂😂
