Okay, flood is cleaned up. All the clothes that got wet have been washed. On the last load of towels.
Hope everyone came out of the hurricane alright. I just got power back yesterday afternoon so I’m probably going to spend the rest of today and a little of tomorrow resting before getting back to work and responding to messages. Love you all and hope everyone is alright! 💜💚💜💚

I've been guilty of being one of those bookish girls who makes it her entire personality but hasn't read a book in 10 years. Okay, I did just read the midnight library and the 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo in the last few years, but that's it.
So I'm looking for suggestions! I like Horror... Not too gorey though I can deal with the Gore as long as it’s not animal gore. I also like thriller and mystery. I like paranormal or psychological, less slasher kind of things. I am not a "booktok" girly. I don't care for "spice". not saying all the characters have to be asexual but I just don't want the plot to revolve around sexy time. (More The Vampire Lestat, Less Claiming of Sleeping Beauty...)
My favorite books of all time are lost souls and drawing blood by Poppy z. Brite ( Billy martin). So if you have read either of those and have a recommendation based on that I would love to hear it!

Ran out of kids to paint yesterday so I tested my friends haunted house stencil on my big head. I didn’t anticipate the fact that the stencil covered my eyes, so I definitely couldn’t see what I was doing and ended up pretty much drawing the haunted house Anywho. But it looked cute so I just had to share.

I finally had enough energy to dye my hair color other than blonde! My spots turned out a lot better than I was expecting. The last time I tried to do anything like this I used arctic fox and it just turned my entire head gray and that is absolutely why I do not use Arctic fox. I know it has some diehard fans but I have never not even once been happy with the color that came out of those bottles. 😂
