Jonna Robison Interior Designer
Organic and earthy, yet sophisticated and timeless interiors infuse my design aesthetic.

I gather earthy textures and natural elements such as wood, stone, metal, wool and linen to create homes that are imbued with the natural landscape.

Boy do I MISS having little girls at home to dress up for Halloween!! I’m taking a walk down Memory Lane today. Halloween is very quiet around here now that we are empty nesters 😭
From The Night Circus to pirates and a band of gypsies… The Grinch (who won the award for “costume that best suits personality”) to Spy Kids…Majonna & Jack Sparrow, and so much more, we had a great run of Halloween festivities with our little ones.
The only costume I couldn’t convince them to do was the 3 little pigs & the big bad wolf…dang it!!
Happy Halloween!!🎃👻🤡💀🧙🏻👼🏻👩🏻‍🎤

The sweeping view of the landscape the rich wood desk faces isn’t visible in this photo, but it looks out upon mountains and hills of sagebrush. It is peaceful and serene. Once a piece of artwork is selected for the wall the space will feel complete. The vintage Moroccan rug, handwoven of silky wool, feels cozy underfoot and adds a good dose of texture and warmth to this office. Layered, textured neutrals in a mountainous landscape loosen the boundaries defined by walls. ⁣

This home sits in a lovely natural setting, surrounded by sagebrush, a river and mountain views, topped with a vast blue sky. I took cues from the outdoors and brought that blue sky inside in the form of textiles. The textured neutrals and woods provide the earthy foundation. The space feels calm and soothing, an extension of the landscape, indoors. It’s sanctuary for the owners in which to retreat from their city life in Chicago. ⁣

This cozy corner of a home office I recently designed includes this fabulous, posh leather chair and ottoman. It’s as if you’re being cradled in a baseball glove. Next to a fire. Yes, please!⁣

The 3-legged hand cast bronze drinks table is designed like a slice of a tree trunk. It’s amazing. ⁣

Concrete panels sheathe the fireplace wall. The gorgeous floor is oak. A cowhide and a thick nubby linen throw visually soften the space. ⁣

I love a good layered look with textural contrast when using neutrals. It makes it much more visually interesting, and soothing, I think. Ready for a nap?⁣

This office... Looking sharp with its custom made walnut desk (with hand cast bronze legs) and walnut bookshelf (with handmade hardware), luxurious Italian leather swivel chairs, and Brazilian cowhide rug. There are so many gorgeous details in here! And the view!! The wide open view opposite, framed by floor to ceiling windows, is stunning. You can see beautiful Park City—the ski resorts, mountains near and far, even the historic old town. More photos to follow of this epic space. ⁣

This shelved space with a countertop in the kitchen was originally drawn to be a fireplace with a small seating area. But, given the fact the great room with fireplace with ample seating was adjacent, we decided to reconfigure this space as an extension of the kitchen with a beverage center and extra storage, allowing us to elongate the fabulous stone-topped kitchen island and create a truly workable kitchen. ⁣
