Grandpapa recently upgraded his flip phone to an iPhone and Apple Watch!

The only problem? Our metal shop gets terrible cell service, so we needed to change that.

Today’s project: installing a SureCall signal booster so we can stay connected while we’re busy making hardware.

Come behind the scenes at the My Color K***s | Designer Hardware shop, where colorful cabinet hardware is made by hand in the mountains of Utah. 🇺🇸

Family-owned since 1965, our workshop is filled with vintage machinery, custom-built molds, and decades of knowledge passed down through generations.

I’m stepping into the role of apprentice as Grandpapa teaches me the machines, the techniques, and the craftsmanship that have kept our family’s trade alive for over 60 years.

This is just the beginning of our journey to preserve that history and share how our colorful cabinet k**bs and pulls are made.
