I am a Navy Submarine Veteran, who loves doing woodworking. I make unique art called Intarsia. Basically it is 3d looking wood pieces that are made using hard woods of various colors. No stains or dyes used all are natural colors. I also do some Laser projects as well

🔥The Phoenix Has Risen 🔥

Just finished this phoenix intarsia piece. Every feather, every flame, every curve was cut, shaped, and finished by hand, using natural wood tones only—no paint, no stain, no shortcuts.
The phoenix has always symbolized resilience, rebirth, and coming back stronger. This piece pushed my skills and reminded me why I fell in love with intarsia in the first place.
• 15 species of wood
• 250 individual pieces
• 16" x 22"
• Mounted on a solid 1" thick teak backer.
