Y’all… Angry Ape’s BBQ just placed 3RD in a NATIONAL BBQ SEASONING COMPETITION! 🔥

45 judges.
10 days of judging.
Seasonings from across the country and from countries afar.
And this little West Virginia BBQ company walked away with 3rd place! 🥉

We started Angry Ape’s with a love for BBQ, a whole lot of experimenting, and a dream of creating flavors that could stand beside anybody’s.

Today, that dream feels a little more real.

To every single person who has bought a bottle, stopped by our booth, shared our posts, told a friend about us, or simply cheered us on , THANK YOU! You’re helping a small Appalachian business do some pretty incredible things.

We’re proud to represent West Virginia and Appalachian BBQ on a national stage.

Well, today we can finally share it.

Angry Ape’s BBQ is officially available inside the Cass State Park General Store at Cass Scenic Railroad!

This one is incredibly special to us. Cass is one of the most iconic places in West Virginia, and seeing Angry Ape’s sitting inside the General Store there honestly feels surreal.

Today we made the trip, delivered the first order, stocked the shelves, and got to take in everything that makes Cass such an amazing piece of Appalachian history.

If you’re headed to Cass Scenic Railroad, riding the train, exploring the park, or just passing through, stop into the General Store and grab some Angry Ape’s BBQ while you’re there.

We are beyond grateful to the folks at Cass State Park for giving a small West Virginia company like ours the opportunity to be part of such a special place.

From Parkersburg to the mountains of Pocahontas County, Angry Ape’s keeps growing, and we couldn’t do any of it without all of you.

West Virginia made. Appalachian proud.
