Faces of Pawhuska High School Homecoming Court. Homecomings look quite differently than the did back in the 80’s at Deat ole Pawhuska High.

You don’t have kids hanging out in the ”pit” playing games (taunting) through the window of the library with Ms. Ketterman… you do however see lots of sparkle and school spirit.

I always say that nobody does homecomings quite like Pawhuska. It is an all day event.
(And actually kinda starts way before that leading up to the day. )

I can remember the homecoming mums of all the cheerleader’s mothers saying Cheer mom, and the ribbons almost touching the floor.
I can remember homecoming mums worn by the band members and the girl friends of the football players with their numbers on the ribbons.

It seemed like you saw ribbons and streamers everywhere.
Either way. It is such a beautiful thing to see when so many people come together and make this event special.

It was a joy to make the royalty’s mums for the Pep assembly and the evening Flowers. I didn’t take pictures of them before I delivered because they look better up against a gorgeous girl in her dress. 🙄🤷‍♀️

I guess I can chalk this up as one more homecoming done in the 17 years. I’ve been here in Pawhuska.

What a blessing it is to continue to serve the community.

Just because bouquet…. Tell me how lucky I am to have customers willing to order with me over and over and over again for years on years?
I had colon surgery yesterday and our phones are forwarded.
We do not have in person shopping.
I had a few people hesitant of me working after a major surgery but I really have to keep moving my flowers…. Besides, I have to get up frequently and walk.
I can not sit at this moment. So it is laying down all the time.

When I get an order, we go up and take care of the order. And I go lay down.
Tony is so helpful by filling up water in vases and carries them to the counter for me.
We tagged team the cooler, I walk in and ask him to grab me that that that and that! This way I don’t have to do a lot of repeated bending over.
I guess we make a pretty good team after all. Thank you for our loyal customers for trusting us and over.
It litterally takes me less time to make the arrangement than it does to take the order. 🤪
