I have to address something really quick.

I have been receiving multiple scam messages on Facebook asking if my dishcloths are still in stock.

Every time, they will try and get me to call Venmo’s business line when the payment doesn't go through.

So, from now on, if someone is trying to purchase something from me via Facebook, I will require payment through Messenger, unless I personally know you. It is getting a little out of hand.

🌿 The Story Behind Ophelia 370 Crafts 🌿

Ophelia 370 Crafts is more than just handmade goods — it’s a story of resilience, hope, and love.

I first started this little business in 2010 while living in Papillion, Nebraska, right off Highway 370 — and it was inspired by two things dear to me: the road I lived on and my sweet cat, Ophelia. She was always by my side during life’s ups and downs, offering quiet comfort. Even after I lost her in 2016, her gentle spirit stayed with me — and her name remains part of this journey.

Back then, I made jewelry and other crafts, but I wasn’t confident enough to share them. After losing my vision in 2015, going through a divorce, and starting life on my own, I packed everything away — unsure if I’d ever create again.

Then in 2021, after moving to Pensacola and facing a uterine cancer diagnosis, I found myself on bed rest — and I picked up a crochet hook to make dishcloths for my mom. Something sparked. I felt joy again. Creativity gave me purpose, healing, and the confidence to start selling my handmade items once more.

Today, Ophelia 370 Crafts is a reflection of that journey — of strength, starting over, and honoring the past while embracing new beginnings. When you support my small business, you’re not just buying a dishcloth or an origami bookmark — you’re becoming part of this story.

Hello, Friends!

It has been a long time since I’ve posted a life update!

I graduated from Pensacola State College in December 2024 with my AA in History. I started the University of West Florida in January, where I am working on my BA in History.

I am taking the summer off and will resume taking orders until August. If you need any special orders, let me know!
