I’ve recently gotten into woodworking and have created a page Sanford Rustic Woodworks for some projects that I had running through my head. I want to make things people want so my question is this, what are some things in our area that are popular in the home decor/craft genre that sell well? This may be a niche type thing but I like making things with my hands and want to make things that will sell. So what you got friends?

Handcrafted Nativity Scene Tea Light Candle Holder

$35 - comes with 10 tea light candles

This was another fun project getting ready for the upcoming Christmas season. A small scene with Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in the manger with John 8:12 written above. Made out of 2x6 lumber with a small rustic roof made from reclaimed pallet wood.

Set of three Christmas trees. These are precious! We can paint them or stain them. The tallest tree is ~11 inches, middle tree is 7.5 inches and the shortest tree is 5 inches. They can be made taller but we wouldn’t recommend making them any shorter. $30 for the set.

Handcrafted Nativity Scene Tea Light Candle Holder

This was another fun project getting ready for the upcoming Christmas season. A small scene with Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in the manger with John 8:12 written above. Dimensions are approximately 5 1/4" deep, 5 1/2" wide and about 8 - 8 1/4" tall. Made out of 2x6 lumber with some reclaimed pallet wood used to make a small roof.

$35 - comes with 10 tea light candles

Rustic Hanging Cross - $15

Started the first of this project today. This is made out of reclaimed pallet wood and measures roughly 16 1/4" tall by roughly 13 1/4" long. This was a fun project to put together.

Family Initial Door Hanger

This project measures in at 18" tall and ranges from 14" - 18" long depending on what letter is on the front. These door hangers are built out of all reclaimed pallet wood. The letters are pieced together using different angled cuts and almost gives it a "digital" look.

Can be purchased in 2 styles:

$40 for rustic finish
$50 for a painted finish in your favorite school's colors

Hymn Plaque Wall Hangers

This was a fun project. The pages are from an older Baptist Hymnal that had fallen apart due to old age. This was my first project using a router. I still have a few left pictured below. I also have 1 blank left at the moment in case you don't see your favorite hymn pictured below. $25. Will make to order when stock runs out as well.

Rustic Coat Hanger project

Simple rustic design using reclaimed pallet wood. Can hang coats, small bags, or even your keys if that what you need it for. Comes standard with 3 hooks but can accommodate 1-2 more if requested. $25 for 1. Will build to order.
