Sam in Full Color Formally The Maple Blonde. Creating art from drawings, paintings and handicrafts. I’ve found a joy in drawing again. I haven’t stopped crocheting either.

What started as a little hobby for crochet hats and scarves, transformed into custom drawings of homes. After my husband requested a drawing of our home and posting a completed image of it, a few friends requested some drawings of their own. From word of mouth and working on an updated version of that home, requests for Christmas gifts came in. I studied art in high school and college, but hadn’t

picked up a pencil in nearly a decade. Being able to put my heart and soul into each picture fills me up more than anything has in quite some time. The commissions are great gifts for a new home, your first home, or the home you grew up in. I hope that when you reach out to me, you know it’ll be drawn to match the personality for whom it’ll be given to. Hats and scarves are a fun break to get my hands moving. Thanks for stopping by.
