Craft show/Market/Critter Swap prep is happening!🌻✨

One thing people don’t usually see behind the scenes is this part right here—mixing up larger batches of fragrance oils and getting everything organized before the pouring even begins.

It may not look like much, but these little jars represent a lot of future candles, wax melts, and freshies 😍

I’m slowly working my way through my scent lineup, making sure everything is ready so I can spend less time measuring and more time creating when it’s time to pour!

It’s a lot of prep work, but honestly, I love these planning days almost as much as the pouring days 💛

Now to keep going and try not to get distracted by smelling everything along the way 😂 A couple of my blends are:

A little behind-the-scenes from today 🌻✨

What looks like a simple candle burning is actually one of the most important parts of the process—wick testing.

Every batch of candles gets tested to make sure they burn the way they should, create a good melt pool, and give the best experience possible. It takes time, patience (a lot of it! They have to cure for a few days before they are solid and stabilized- full cure is roughly 10 days!), and sometimes a lot of note-taking 😅

Not the most glamorous part of candle making, but definitely one of the most important.

So today I’m over here with a candle, a notebook, and probably checking it way more often than necessary 😂💛

Wick testing my new sizes of candles! I think I dialed in the big ones! (16oz ) 🙌🏻 The medium ones (8oz) are giving me a run for my money! 😵‍💫 but I want to make sure I make safe products! But I’m extremely close to dialing that one in to! Super excited!

After all the testing, pouring, waiting, and re-pouring sometimes 😅… it’s really rewarding seeing everything finally come together.

From the cozy sweetness of Peach Hollow, to the fresh calm feeling of Spa Retreat, to the bright clean vibe of Coastal Zest — each one ended up with its own personality and I’ve loved creating every bit of them 💛

Coming up will be some summer scents!! Think beachy, island life! 🏝️ And getting some new Freshies going!

A little peek behind the scenes! What it’s like while things are curing and waiting to be labeled 🌻✨

It’s a mix of pouring, testing, organizing and creating! 😍 Here’s what I’ve got in the works!

Peach Hollow (wax melts) 🍑
Peach • White Oak • Oat Milk Honey
– soft, slightly sweet, and really cozy

Spa Retreat (candles & wax melts) 🌿
Lemongrass • Basil • Soft Woods
– fresh, clean, and calming in the best way

Coastal Zest (candles & wax melts) 🥥
Coconut • Lemongrass • Lime
– bright, a little tropical, and super refreshing

Each one has such a different feel, and I’ve been loving switching between them depending on my mood 😌💛

Just a little check in from my candle corner 🌻💛

I pour in smaller batches, which I actually really love! It lets me slow down a bit, dial in and really enjoy the process… but it does mean I don’t make a ton at once 😅

Also, just a reminder that Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up, which feels like it snuck up so fast 👀✨

Candles and wax melts always feel like such a simple, thoughtful little gift, so I’ve had that in the back of my mind while pouring lately 💛
