Did you know? The chairs and barstools in your kitchen do more design work than almost any other piece in the room. 🪑

They're at eye level. They're pulled out, pushed in, and seen from every angle. And because they're smaller than a sofa, people often underspend on them thinking it won't matter. It does.

A great stool or dining chair can pull together finishes from across the whole room without a renovation. 🙌

One question that can instantly change how your living room feels: is your rug actually big enough? 🏡

If your furniture is surrounding the rug instead of connecting to it, it's probably too small for the space. The front legs of your sofa and chairs should sit ON the rug to anchor everything together.

It sounds simple, but it makes a huge difference in how finished and pulled-together a room feels.🙌

Pick the wall your eye naturally goes to when you walk into the room. Usually that's the wall directly across from the entrance, or the one behind your main furniture anchor like a bed or sofa. That's your accent wall.
