Sean Martorana The Art & Designs of Sean Martorana currently focusing on interior decor & modular textile designs. Capturing nature’s imperfect beauty. Fine art + Murals.

Products: Art, prints, cushions, wallpaper, dining accessories, apparel & stationery. Visit my site for pricing & availability or to inquire about custom work. Sean Martorana’s artwork and designs transform familiar subjects into conceptual representations, coursing with the energy and emotion that lies beneath the surface of everything he sees. By deconstructing the physical existence of figures,

florals, and fauna, he reveals the power and spirit that connects all things and beings. With a base in drawing, painting and design, the possible applications of Sean’s work are myriad, as he continually experiments with new subjects and mediums in his bold, iconic style. Sean’s work graces two-dimensional surfaces, hand-painted murals, fashion collaborations, large-scale multi-media installations and interior surface designs with his textile collections. His work has been shown in galleries, restaurants, hotels, on the street and in homes. What motivates Sean to keep moving forward is knowing the powerful effect that art and design can have on people. He continues to spread his artistic energy through personal pieces, commissions, and collaborations with artists in various creative fields.

Right before the opening of my show I did a quick walkthrough for a few people that couldn’t make it. Figured why not post that here as well. Maybe I should do a deeper dive into the pieces in the show? 🤔

A recent Flourish installation in this beautiful home as part of an entire makeover of the interior. This time inspired by the Ivy vine, the leaves spread out embracing the doorway. The dark green background gives a feeling that through the Ivy and into the shadows is a secret garden in another world.

Before is at the end of the slide.

About this time last year I had the honor to paint a Flourish pattern on the side of this little garage in West Philly for and .

As construction was beginning for one of their projects across the street, Logan hired me and another artist to beautify some walls as a gift to the community.

I personally love painting for the people in neighborhoods. As I’m out there painting I actually get to meet a lot of people throughout the day. It’s incredibly inspiring to receive their excitement about what we are doing as they thank me for creating something beautiful for them.

A simple project that has an incredibly positive impact on those that live around it and experience it everyday.

Inspired by the local Phlox flower this was painted in a beautiful green with white vines and florals touched with Lilac Pearl accents.

Many thanks to Logan and his team!
Looking forward to working with them again.

I started up a Patreon. It feels like a great place for me to document my work this year so that’s where my focus will be. Join me if you want to.

One of my latest entries includes a submission that I just entered for a grant. It included a work of art or more from each year from the past two decades.

Including this painting of mine from 2005ish.
Animal Rights. Acrylic on Canvas.

The rest of the artwork from 20+years is over on my Patreon page if it interests you.

The Hilary Flourish Mural.

Colors chosen by the client this mural sits in the back space of a private residence in the center of Philadelphia.

You can see the mural from the front door all the way to the back as the kitchen wall is all glass doors.

One of my favorites to date.
