I can’t remember what year I hooked my first rug. It’s been awhile. I do know it was a kit that I had purchased from a local craft store. After that I was literally “hooked” but I had no interest in the kits that the latch hook rug market had to offer. I mean they were ok
but I lost interest in them quickly. The designs could not hold my attention. So, I started to design my own patterns using colored pencils and graph paper. I bought rug canvas and pre cut yarn. Sometimes I even cut my own yarn from skeins to get a certain look and feel. So with my families encouragement, I started my Etsy shop. I even started a blog.
