If you have some furniture that you'd like redone, whether refinished or painted, reach out and we can talk about what that might look like.

I am also open to larger projects, like cabinet refinishing/painting, some handyperson things around the home or yard, and organizing projects. (Must reside in the Valley the Sun or surrounding areas๐Ÿ˜‰)

Shoot me a DM and we'll talk. ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ˜€

I've been a busy bee! Now that this project is complete I'm excited to start sharing pictures!

This week I completed a kitchen cabinet makeover! A friend hired me to makeover her tired, but loved, 1980's cabinets.

So I brought all the doors and drawers home, stripped, cleaned, conditioned, stained and sealed them all!

Then I spent time in her home and did the same process to all the kitchen cabinet faces.

I feel accomplished and excited for her to complete her kitchen makeover with new counters, sink, faucet, and a couple appliances.

Over the next week or so I'll share more process pics, but today I'm sharing the before and after.

Here's a project I did about a month ago...I really wanted something to sit on my counter that would hold large amounts of produce, since we shop a lot at Costco for fruits & veggies. Typically we just had all of those yummy items sprawled across the counter and I was tired of the clutter!

So, I tried my hand at creating a design on the free version of SketchUp . I watched a few videos on YouTube (The SketchUp Essentials ) to get the basics of the program and off I went.

Using 3/4 inch pine plywood, I made my cuts, ironed on some edge banding, and put this together. I used some steel corner brackets to attach and elevate the top section, which gives even more room to put groceries. I chose to paint it white so that it didn't contrast too much against the counters. Although I may still decide to paint a fun design on it.๐Ÿค”

All in all, an easy project. I had some learning moments too, which I'd implement if I decide to make more of these.

Newest DIY... "Floating" Shelves for the bathroom. Inspired by

I used items I already had including a couple of pieces of wood that I lightly sanded and stained with some Driftwood . I did purchase some 4 inch steel brackets that I spray painted black. Once installed and styled you can't even tell the brackets are there! Quick project with a big impact.โค๐Ÿ‘

Here are some trays that were made for Christmas presents. Why did it take so long to post these? I blame it on my love/hate relationship with social media. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Either way, I really enjoyed making these and even gave them names...
The blue is High Tide, brown is Pebble Beach, and gray is Thunderstorm. They have new homes in Colorado with my loved ones. โค

Thanks for making it so easy to build this!

I don't have a track saw so I clamped a T-square next to my lines to ensure straight cuts with the circular saw. Worked like a charm.

I'm waiting for the casters to be delivered and then moving on to organization! My favorite.

This weeks project was a commission furniture revival. I didn't want to spoil how it turned out until it was delivered this morning.

The piece was an adorable antique high chair made by T. E. Heinritz. needed a new buckle, the tray's spring was broken, and it was looking pretty rough.

After determining the end goal, which was to make it operational and ready for use, I went to work.

Research, plan, deconstruct, clean, sand some areas, match stain and apply, seal, reconstruct, fix.

I tried to keep the integrity of the chair itself, which meant keeping the sanding to a minimum and keeping some of the well-loved areas. I couldn't fix the original spring on the tray so I came up with a way to make it spring loaded to lock the tray in place.

I felt honored that Linda Shoemaker trusted me with her treasure and the chair that was used when she was an infant. Thank you so much!

This table remodel turned out so good!

It used to be a flip top table, but I had to slice n' dice the rails to remove the top. So I used black brackets to attach the top to the base (at the suggestion of the hubs).

After repair, stripping, sanding, white washing, staining, painting, sealing, it came out beautifully!
