Something I find fascinating especially as a strictly house plant lover. Common name "air potato plant" my neighbor sold me 3 bulbs this past spring. Me not having the energy to mess with outdoor plants, I literally just threw them in some dirt in the ground. And boom here we are. It has been the most peaceful feeling walking onto my front porch this season. I will deeply miss them as the first frost comes they will start to die off. Luckily they are easy to bring back each year. Wait till the bulbs are at least the size of a baseball, pick them from the stem and save in a Ziploc bag or cardboard box till next spring. The ones pictured I already picked are the size of softballs!
Disclaimer.... These are easily invasive so prep for that!
I will be selling some bulbs if any interest π
