Sullivan Book Arts We specialize in custom bookbinding and repair using quality materials and traditional techniques. Who are we? We're bound only by your imagination.

We now have a storefront in Pittsburg, Kan., complete with a gallery of local artists. Our store hours are posted below, but we're also available by appointment. I'm Olive Sullivan, writer, dog person, and bookbinder. I hold a certificate in Core I Bookbinding from the San Francisco Center for the Book, and I trained for several years as an apprentice with Sharen May, of Drennan Bookbinding in Jop

I have been talking to my shop lock for a while now. I had so much trouble with it, then one day I just started talking to it and expressing my appreciation. When it works (relatively) smoothly, I say "thank you." And sometimes "Good girl!"
