*** DO NOT ATTEMPT *** š If you read my Top 5 Horror Stories post you will now know which of them was the near miss. The pink ink envelopes being delivered a month late was very close to being a reality. One of my best friends is having a baby girl in September/October and as a mom of boys I dive on any opportunity to do the girly things. I purchased a palette of pink inks in hopes I could use them in some capacity for her shower. I intended on using them to address her invitations but something told me to check with the post office first. I donāt address envelopes often and when I have itās always been dark inks or white ink on dark envelopes, so lots of contrast. Apparently USPS scanners donāt even like red ink, so the pink was a no go.
The possibility that I could have addressed 50 envelopes for none of them to be delivered on time had me sick but so relieved I checked! Crisis averted. I canāt say I wasnāt disappointed everyoneās envelopes didnāt arrive looking like the one pictured lol but better they arrived in time and arrived at all. š
