Thank you thank you for all the support my first year of Seek & Saw! Especially the past week 💕

As I packed up the last of these guys behind me I’m so grateful for being able to create and for people to give those creations a space in their homes 🙃

This second year things are looking bigger and brighter and I can’t wait to see what’s in store 🎉

I’ve been wanting to participate in Fluffy Butt Friday a while now & stumbled upon this gem this morning 💕 (Cred for making it a day)

Meet Riley, the marshmallow, and Milo, the little guy. They make for subpar shop dogs, Riley comes into the shop for an occasional nap and Milo is scared of the saw noise, but I’ve never met gooder boys 🎉.
If your a dog person you can read a bit more below:

Milo is a 3 year old Mini Australian Shepard and an avid wiggle butt. He’s too smart for his own good and usually likes to frown in pictures (hence why this one is such a gem).

Riley is an 8 year old Samoyed who loves to make noise & take naps. He also has diabetes and gets insulin shots twice a day. But he’s a trooper & still always has that big smile on face.

They both love walks to the river and down Franklins Main Street. If you see them there they love pets and being told their handsome 🐶💕

This liquor cabinet was a challenge. 1st time building drawers, 1st time building doors & 1st time figuring out how to make sure those hinges would support shelves full of Liquor and wine bottles 🤯.

Thankfully my client was super patient. So we took it step by step and turned a challenge into something totally unique and beautiful...and with so many little details I still want to share 🥳. So you’ll be seeing more of this one before I haul it up to Pittsburgh next week

The SCOOP! The past couple nights I tried out spoon carving. I learned some of the basics by trial and error and help from friends. The end result, spoon/scoop is far from great. BUT if you scroll far enough you will see some great carving & the reason why I started woodworking—>

My Poppop carved birds in his spare time. He passed away when I was too young to have much of a relationship with him, but he left these amazingly lifelike carvings behind. My fascination with them and what people could do with their hands is what led me to try woodworking. So while birds and spoons are different, this was an awesome reminder that creating is always about more than what you create. AND that woodworking, with the endless skills to learn is the coolest hobby ever. Thanks for passing that one along Poppop 🙏 @ Franklin, Tennessee

Swipe for the cutest date a girl can snag - - - >

It’s always fun to be able to take a product that’s already out there and put your own spin on it. Something I thought beer flights needed were little cards. So you can write down the names of the drinks, ratings of what your tasting and be able to keep tabs on what you’ve tried and what you’ve liked. These first sets are gifts for family but who knows maybe I’ll make something similar to sell 😉 🍻

A snapshot destined to live on moms refrigerator 📸. No, this liquor cabinet isn’t done yet. But it already has been a lot of firsts. 1st drawers. 1st cabinet doors. And honestly (denoted by my soccer stance) I’m pretty proud of it. I’m realizing that creative business can create a lot of feelings of not doing enough and comparison. But what I’m learning is that when you focus on your own path, celebrate the little wins and put your trust in something greater, everything will work out just how it’s intended too 🎉

We OFFICIALLY survived our first holiday season 🎉. & not just survived but honestly had the most fun I’ve had around the holidays ever. So thank you again if you ordered with me this year or just for sticking around as I navigate my all my firsts as a business owner. And I am so hopeful for what 2021 has in store! Part of which will involve a slightly different plan to get you more of the pieces you’re excited about. But I’ll share more on that later 🙃. In the meantime cheers & happy holidays 🥂 🎄🎁
