Life changing trip to Costa Rica. Both the tropical dry region (Guanacaste), as depicted here, and the tropical rainforest, specifically the Monteverde cloud forest, inland. A veritable flora/fauna explosion and my senses were captivated. Fresh off the Hiker Girl Art’s desk, this is “Playa Samara Sunset.” If I was adept at drawing animals, there would be Howler Monkeys, and/or Scarlet Macaws in those trees. Because often there were! Pura Vida!

This is my favorite sprout of the year because of the animal it attracts. Can you name it? ;)
