Lately, we've been in the moment, having fun, and creating special spaces!
We designed this home sensory room for our client who wanted a dedicated space for their residents to manage their cognitive needs. The goal was to create an environment that was calming yet interactive, and to promote self regulation.
The benefits of sensory rooms are multifaceted and can help individuals of all ages with varying levels of cognitive and physical abilities. Creating such environments allow emotional exploration and the chance to seek different kinds of stimulation, which can possibly be therapeutic.
This project was truly a labor of love 💙
