What’s the difference between decorating a home and planning a renovation? Solving the layout first.

As fun as it sounds to jump right into the “pretty” aspect of a renovation—paint colors, drapery, and finishes—it’s so important to plan the layout and structure of the space first. This ensures your renovation starts off on the right foot, and lessens the chance of major issues later!

Ever wondered why two very similar pieces of furniture can have two vastly different price points? 🤔

The difference is often in what you can’t see. Every choice in materials, technique, and craftsmanship, impacts not only the cost, but the long-term functionality and performance.

A good designer can help you source furniture from reputable manufactures for the value that fits your lifestyle.

Which piece of furniture do you most love (or want to have) in your space? Tell me about it below 👇

When a house has been around for this long, it’s high time for a little well-deserved TLC! ♥️✨

My design process goes deeper than choosing paint colors and pillows. For this project, my team is also putting together a construction plan that includes room layout changes and exterior updates. All of these changes will create a cleaner canvas for the design selections, while also ensuring this Mid Century home can keep welcoming family and friends for years to come.

Check out my latest YouTube video for more details on this project, and stay tuned for updates!

We just can’t get over the Bloomleigh 🌸

A Regency-inspired retreat complete with luxe details, plush textures, and understated elegance.

Our client wanted their master suite, hobby room, and powder room to feel like a dreamy escape, while still being functional for everyday modern life. We used a cool-toned color palette, simple lines, delicate floral patterns, and botanical artwork to give each space a cohesive, yet unique, atmosphere.

Which space is your favorite? 🐝

What’s the best way to ensure your bedroom feels elevated? Don’t buy matching furniture sets! 🛏️

It might seem counterintuitive, but intentionally mismatching furniture actually makes a space feel more custom and collected. Each piece is specifically chosen to complement the room, not a page in a catalog.

One benefit of a matching set, of course, is convenience. So if the thought of hand-picking each item of furniture feels a little daunting, I have good news! The right designer can help you make the best selections that will transform your bedroom into a restful and elegant space 😴
