The moment I first arrived in Aspinwall many years ago, I fell in love with this town.
I was a frequent visitor to Hamfeldās, Jimmy Gās, The Loop, and later the Aspinwall Grill, now Samās Tavern in The Wall.
I became a renter, and eventually a home owner.
I loved the small town feeling, and all the neighbors walking their dogs, walking to church, and gathering for the Memorial Day Parade each May. Halloween is nothing short of epic each October.
Being a realtor, I have been lucky enough to introduce many new families to Aspinwall.
I have loved watching them discover all the great reasons for raising their families here; as so many families have done before them. I want to continue seeing the quality of life improve here, even more, in the years to come.
I quickly got involved with the Civic Association, St. Scholastica Choir, and started regularly attending Council meetings at a the suggestion of a former, long time Council member.
While working on The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee it became clear to me that we also needed a path forward for future Aspinwall Residents.
I am now running to retain my seat on Aspinwall Council to help preserve the qualities that make Aspinwall āThe Town that Pride Builtā.
We have to address aging infrastructure, new technology with EV Charging Stations and Solar Power and sustainability over all.
The publicās safety, with our proximity to the Railroad Tracks and the daily trains, is also a concern of mine and many of my neighbors.
I will continue to work with Aspinwall Council, and Joe Noro, our Mayor, The Borough Staff, and continue my participation and support of Aspinwall Neighbors, our First Responders, AVFD, our police, and Foxwall Emergency Services.
For these reasons, and more, I am humbly asking for your vote on May 16th so I can retain my seat and continue moving Aspinwall forward.
