What is the connection with between climate change and the cannabis industry, you ask?

Well, for starters they are like every other business or entity on the planet and will have to start dealing with developing contingency plans for when their supply chain, labor force or physical assets are threatened by extreme weather conditions.

Second, it's no secret that indoor cannabis cultivation facilities are extremely energy intensive - up to 10 times moreso than a typical commercial building.

ProCanna USA allowed me to share my thoughts, especially regarding how cannabis businesses may receive (or be denied) permits to operate in their local community based on how well they answer the question: are you ready for a climate future?
