Sometimes it’s hard not to wonder if the little things we do really make a difference. 🌿
Today, while pulling invasive honeysuckle, I found a single native Jack-in-the-pulpit blooming nearby — a plant that had never appeared here before after years of clearing invasives and making space for natives to return.
This was a reminder that small actions matter. Pull a few invasives. Plant natives. Create space for wildlife to thrive. And observe (don’t pick!) these beautiful plants for years to come.

Part of the growing cycle 🔁 on our property is backyard chickens! Being a steward of the land means providing habitat for our creatures big and small by building soil health and turning waste into energy to feed our flowers ♻️ 🌼 🐓 The chickens help with-
✅pest control and consume kitchen scraps ✅contribute to our compost ✅provide hours of entertainment & snuggles ✅and oh yeah, fresh eggs! 🥚
