A memorial service for Betsy Kimball will be held at Tasker Funeral Home on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Betsy’s name to The Arthritis Foundation, The Dover Adult Learning Center, Hope for Ukraine, National Public Radio, The Trevor Project, FuRRR Feline Rescue, or the charity of your choice supporting a cause in which she believed.

This weekend our hearts broke when we learned Betsy Kimball passed away on Saturday, March 8.

A longtime member of Generic Theater, Betsy was skilled both on stage and off, sometimes playing double duty as actor and lighting designer for a GT production. She was incredibly smart with a delightful sense of humor, always ready to lend a hand with an innate talent to make any task with which she was associated enjoyable and fun. When not on stage she was always willing to run lights and sound, gather props, or host a cast party at her fabulous home. Generous to a fault, she gave her time and talent joyfully. She was always a best colleague and friend.

We are so grateful for the time we had with Besty, and so dismayed with her passing.

Betsy, we love you, we mourn you, you will be missed.

And that’s a wrap.
The set is struck and the plaster dust is washed off the floor. A Skull In Connemara was a fantastic success with excellent audiences and good laughs! Thanks to the Players’ Ring for allowing us to take over their stage and thank-you to everyone who came out to see us, we hope you enjoyed watching the show as much as we did producing it.
