Last of the washouts in preparation of this weekends show.

These are reversed dyes…meaning that they started out as a black dress. Zoom in on the pics, the colors are so pretty.

The dye on blue/purple one is called dreamy night. So appropriately named.

I always say that there are no mistakes in art. But….these two towels are so off the mark. They are not at all what I set out to do…yet I really love them. Look at that color! So pretty.

They may not be what I set out to do…they are still art and I can accept that. I will try it again and again to get it right.

The cool thing about them is that they are so versatile. You can take them to the beach, use them as a blanket…or maybe a tablecloth or even a tapestry.

I’m always practicing. Tea towels work great for that.

Today, I’m showing you the new colors that I am experimenting with. The colors were designed to show off the splits…meaning that they break down into all the colors that were used to make that specific color. So pretty!!! Also makes the item one of a kind. It makes it hard to predict what it is going to look like in the end. Keeps me guessing. 😆
