Four years ago, we took the leap into starting our own construction company and Isaac becoming a general contractor. Building our first home together sparked something in us to start this business. Since then we sold our first home, bought property on lake Vermilion to start slowly building our cabin, then decided “why not start building our second home”. We are a little crazy… Even more crazy enough, we just sold our home and bought a fixer upper!

These past few years have been filled with long days, hard work, and countless lessons—but also with pride in the projects we’ve built and the relationships formed along the way.

If anyone has owned a business, you understand the sacrifices you have to make. Whether it’s hiring employees and not being able to pay yourself, to missing quality time with loved ones, the stress and pressure to keep going, and injuries you get by trying to doing it all by yourself. Somehow you find a way to make it all work.

Now, we’re getting ready to close this chapter and Isaac is stepping into a new career opportunity. We’re so grateful we had the chance to run our own business and support ourselves the last few years and are grateful to everyone who supported us in the process.

Though this chapter is closing, we’re excited for what’s ahead and the chance to keep building—just in a different way.

Isaac spent the last two weeks building this for a quick turnaround! He is a one impressive human 🤍 love that we get to build this kind of stuff, especially for family!

Our hunters haven project is complete 🦌

We took this blank canvas and dreamed of taking this space from a hunting shack, to a hunters haven! Scroll to the end to see what it looked like before ➡️

Over the last few months we had the pleasure of working with two brothers that wanted to share this space with their families when they came for hunting season. We had full freedom when it came to designing the plans to building out this space 🔨

We were able to add so many features!

• A spacious working kitchen
• Full bathroom
• Large loft with stairs leading up to bedrooms and a fun hangout space
• Downstairs bedroom
• Cozy living space with a wood fireplace

AND locker stalls for everyone to hang their rifles & coats!What more could you need after a long day of hunting?!

We can’t wait for our clients to enjoy this space and create many memories with their families for years to come. ✨

Our home 🤍🏡

A lot of hard work went into this house. Blood, sweat, & tears.

Took a step back from posting for a while since we’ve been trying to get our house finished. Here are some amazing photos done by 📸

One of our favorite features in our home is the custom range hood we bought from it was an old piece of furniture that we fixed up and painted. We wired in the hood vent and put a frame TV in to watch our favorite shows or games while cooking!

Been a little quite lately getting things from our storage unit brought in our house and moved in! We closed on our construction loan yesterday, and we’re finally feeling like we can breathe ✨

We put some of our appliances in this week and countertops are going being installed soon!

Project reveal: New Construction 🏠✨🔨

Last year Isaac and I decided to branch out into building a new construction home. We designed a custom floor plan specific for this lot and later got to work building 🔨

Building a home from the ground up is no easy feat especially when you’re trying to build your own home at the same time 😅 We learned so much from this process that we will take with us to the next project!

One of our favorite carpentry projects in this new home is the custom slat fireplace🔥making this living area so cozy 🖤

This home has a great location across from Pike Lake and has so much natural light and amenities throughout. This home will be a rental, so follow along with to see more of their space! They did such an amazing job with the finishing touches ✨

Started the process of building kitchen cabinets for our house! We built all of our cabinetry in our previous home and decided to do it again to save on costs and loved how they turned out!

We learned so much from doing them and are excited to do it all over again, this time with a little more experience! Can’t wait to keep building ✨

This weeks house project, building a kitchen in our attached garage!

This gave us a good excuse to test out our kitchen cabinet color for inside the house. We’ll be building our cabinets, but for this project we used stock cabinets from Home Depot! Can’t wait to utilize this space in the future 🤍

Lazy Sunday ✨

Putting together the final finishing details for our house 🏡

I remember ordering our kitchen pendants almost two years ago right after we sold our last house and having a vision for what our next house would look like!

A warm and moody space connected through earthy tones and accent lighting. We have an amazing vintage piece from we’re repurposing as our range hood. We also have two 4’ x 4’ vintage framed pieces of artwork to highlight in our kitchen/dining room. They have the most amazing items 💕

All of our appliances will be matte black with brass hardware to go with the other brass fixtures we have which is the hat we’re most excited for!
