For the eighth and final layout of my workshop, I taught a technique that I learned in my CTMH days. I am not sure the official name but it was taught to me as “splooshing”. To get this look, you use ink, water, and a plastic wrapper off of just about anything. The crumpled wrapper is used as the brush to create the textured look. We also used the Creative Memories border maker system to create the sand castle border- which was perfect for those photos!

With the end of the workshop, what are your thoughts? Which layout is your favorite? Should I share another?

Who’s ready for layout number 7?
In this layout, we learned how to use ink to add color and dimension to our paper. We added some sponging to our backgrounds, creating color and drawing attention to our embellishments. We also sponged around our photo frame edges to add dimension to our photos. Very simple technique, but added so much to our layouts!
