Here’s a photo taken from my porch early this morning of the Short Hills to our west. It’s not common, but it is a welcome sight to notice the hills brightly gilded by the sunrise this time of year. I have to comment on how this juxtaposition reminds me that God and nature have uncanny ways to make me appreciate routine events like the sunrise in a way I wouldn’t normally consider. I’m so grateful for starting today with this beautiful sight and the inspiration it gives me. On that note I want to say thank you to local shoppers, my support system, and all the champions of small businesses in Western Loudoun. I look forward to seeing what delightful surprises are in store for the coming year!
