How's this for a luxury porta-potty? For me, this is the most exciting time when the design work and decorating come together. We're good stewards, so we repurpose everything we can. The mirror, sink bowl, and dry sink were purchased through the FB marketplace. The wood accents are weathered pallet boards and the black trim came from someone local who was replacing a blackboard fence. We go used (and cheap) whenever we can BUT we don't skimp on luxury. All throne rooms are custom-built and uniquely appointed AND all are 5-star. All have flushing toilets, running water, and electricity! We repurpose everything we possibly can for our Throne Rooms! The bead board ceiling was "leftovers" from someone else's project. The pallet boards came from a local business. The black trim is actually fence boards, and they made their way here from another local farm. The vanity and the lamp were great finds on Marketplace. Anybody can buy new! It takes a keen eye and a passion for the planet to hunt for the treasures we need :-)

And now the metal goes up on the walls of our newest Throne-Room and I'm loving it more and more as we go! Each unit in our fleet will be unlike all the others - except for the flushing toilet, running water, and electricity that is. You KNOW you have a good thing going when people reach out in other states to see if they can rent one of our 5-star portable potties :-) Does it get any better than this? Not in my book. Life on the farm...

I found the perfect lamp for the newest Throne-Room! The best part is that I found it for $10. We repurpose everything we possibly can around here. The latest Throne-Room will have repurposed pallet wood, a repurposed washstand, a repurposed galvanized planter to be used for the sink, and a repurposed chandelier. How cool is that? I'm having W A Y too much fun accessorizing 5-star porta potties :-)

The next Throne Room model is being built and this one will have a twist of its own...just like all the others. We're adding a "mark" of our faith in every model BUT don't let the cathedral look fool you. We're using more pallet wood as trim and the walls will be corrugated metal roofing. The jury is still out but we think we'll be naming this one "The HENhouse"...standby to find out why. Ahh...my creative juices are flowing! These portable restrooms are booking up fast for local weddings and grad parties! If you need outdoor facilities for your event, why not a 5-star solution? Does it get any better than this? Not in my book. Life on the farm...
