I can’t believe our Spain trip was already six months ago… and I really can’t believe we never shared these beautiful doors. 🚪✨

We took so many photos of doors while we were there. We couldn’t help ourselves. Around every corner there seemed to be another one that made us stop. The colors, the old wood, the little details, and all the character that made each one feel completely different from the last.

Looking through these again has me missing those days of wandering through Spain with nowhere we needed to be, just taking it all in. And, of course, it has us dreaming about where our next adventure will take us. ✈️

Pinterest and AI can give you the dream… but they don’t always show you what it takes to actually build it. 👀

That perfect kitchen image doesn’t show the measurements, construction details, clearances, material limitations, budget decisions, trade coordination, or the 100 tiny decisions that have to happen along the way.

We LOVE inspiration. Save the pins, generate the ideas, dream big. 🤍 But taking those ideas and turning them into a beautiful, functional, buildable space in YOUR actual home? That’s a whole different thing.

That’s where good design goes beyond the pretty picture.
