Make it Monday!

This will be the last post until I return to my shop after spending a few weeks enjoying time with my kids and grandkids. Today's post is a throwback to 2 years ago. I absolutely love making personalized overalls for toddlers. Johnathan has gotten many bee themed items starting with his very first nursery bedding set. These overalls continued the theme and aren't they the cutest! It brought back so many memories of making sets like this when my own children were small and let me dress them in darling handmade one of a kind boutique sets. This is definitely something I mean to do more of when I get more sewing time!

Finally week to put the finishing touches one wedding attire for 2 little hobbit boys and Ethan who is still on fully committed to being a bard....or a necromancer.....or a wizard. So very excited to spend time with family and celebrate Helen and Robert. And about a million times more excited to see these little cousins play together ❤️

Today I will be working on the last 2 custom orders I have for the next 6 weeks! After that I will be finishing wedding stuff and looking forward to time with family. Below is a little baby nest I made on Saturday between orders from custom printed blue bird fabric that I absolutely adore!

This picture is a bit outdated since during the past week I have filled all the yarn bins and stocked the rest of the miniature fabrics ❤️ But isn't this litte display scrumptious! I am busy with orders but hopefully I will get more time for several more little fabric rooms in my cubbies.

Make it Monday....

Goals: this is long term, far longer than just what I can do today.
Just an FYI, as far as miniature fabrics go, I have more print possibilities than I wll ever possibly use and therefore don't show everything. If you are looking for something specific, ask, because chances are I have it in my digital library and if I don't have it I can make it. I generally get graphic designs done overnight and can print in my shop the next day! I only keep 2-3 fabric sets in my etsy shop at the moment because I am bad about taking pictures of fabric and getting listings up and 90% of my fabric orders are custom sets not sold on etsy! I do a LOT of vintage reproduction or inspired fabrics from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s in miniature and print on a variety of bases, both woven and knit. It is most economical to order atleast 5-6 prints to spread cost of shipping over multiple peices and each peice is big enough to get multiple outfits from! We are in the process of expanding as well and hope to go from 8 1/2x11/14 to 16x20 in. The plan is to eventually have a full miniature fabric store inside my life size fabric store, and I may take some time in August to get that done ✔️

JUST AN FYI- my heat press for custom prints went down this morning, we have a new one ordered and my husband is going to work on this one tonight, and while I should have enough fabric printed to complete existing orders we have put to shop on hold for a few days so we don't get a huge back log!!!!!
