Two years ago, this dear client had no idea she would be downsizing so soon when we splurged on a much-needed home refresh. And now, two years later, I’m so grateful we get to give those beloved pieces a beautiful new home. 🤍

We purchased two luxurious sofas from , carefully selecting fabrics that worked perfectly with her original color scheme. We paired them with custom COM ottomans, gold nesting tables, and two gorgeous swivel chairs from .

Thankfully, I had saved all of her original fabric samples in her client folder! That little detail made choosing a new rug, wall color, and complementary grasscloth so much easier. And while the floor plan was completely different, I was thrilled to see that her existing pieces fit beautifully into the new space.

worked his magic once again with custom built-ins, perfectly tailored to the space—even constructing them off-site! And the library light is the perfect finishing touch, beautifully showcasing her collected decor.

I’m also so grateful to JACC Painting for taking on another fireplace refresh with me. We found a gorgeous porcelain surround, and my client selected a stunning stone for the hearth. The result? 🤌🏼

Homey. Beautiful. Cozy. Classy. Chic.

So many ways to describe this updated space—and perhaps my favorite part is that we were able to take pieces from a previous chapter and make them feel completely at home in the next one. ✨

It was an immediate “I love you” the second I saw this kitchen fully renovated. 🤍

We took this plain Jane, vanilla kitchen and turned it into a work of art.

The tiny island was made even smaller by a sink that took up so much valuable space. With the help of JACC Painting, we added extra cabinetry along the backside of the island and an overhang on two sides, instantly giving the island more depth, width, and function.

Then came the fun part. 💙

We painted the island a beautiful blue and added fluted wood to the backside. I wanted the design to feel completely seamless, so we carried that fluted pattern onto the custom made inset doors.

We replaced the countertops with a custom-selected quartzite, ripped out the old backsplash, and added stunning reeded glass for a little unexpected texture.

There were no lights over the island, so we added two larger pendants to give the space the presence it was missing. These stools have always been a favorite, but using COM fabric took them to another level.

And finally, changing all of the hardware and plumbing from brushed nickel to gold? Game changer. ✨

Every detail was intentional, and seeing it all come together was one of those this is exactly why I love what I do moments.

Have I mentioned how good it feels to be back doing what I love?! 🥹🤍

How could you not stay in this new swanky room? Pour me a glass of wine, teach me how to mahjong, and play me a sweet, soulful tune on that grand piano. 🤩

Whew! Beyond thrilled that this client went along with all my suggestions:

Custom-color plantation shades. Gorgeous drapery. Color-drenching this space in the richest blue hue + adding some picture molding (thank you, JACC!). Adding two luxurious chandeliers because this long room was made for more than just one! Tall-back custom swivel chairs to bring the proportions of the room together. And, of course, a custom built-in bar because every good entertaining space needs one. 😉

A huge thank you to for listening to every single request and going above and beyond to bring this vision to life. I’m obsessed with every little detail!

Feeling especially proud of this one — and incredibly grateful for my girl Jess, who made sure everything kept moving while I had to step away. 💙

One of those projects that makes you stop, take it all in, and say… yep, this is exactly why I love what I do. 🙏🏻

Starting from a clean slate is my specialty. Every project begins as a blank canvas—one that isn’t complete without the sketches, layers, details, and fine-tuning that bring it to life. 💫

helped execute every detail flawlessly.

What appears to be a decorative accent wall is actually a hidden entrance, revealing itself only when the correct code is entered. Beyond the door, floor-to-ceiling plaid wallpaper, a vintage telephone, curated artwork, and a designated spot to leave your cell phone behind welcome you into a world where time slows down.

A copper sconce illuminates a personalized antique sign, marking ownership of this special retreat. Step through the arched brick opening and you’ll feel transported back to the 1920s—though this version of Prohibition hits a little differently.

Vinyl records line the shelves, ranging from Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé Christmas classics to Chris Stapleton and 311. Whiskeys from around the world and across generations share space with vintage black-and-white photographs and modern prohibition-inspired art.

The custom swivel chairs were designed specifically for this room, featuring rich chocolate leather seats, taupe leather strapping accented with brass nailheads, and masculine tweed backs. At the center sits a treasured family heirloom—a trunk once used by a grandfather who worked as a cobbler, now repurposed as the room’s centerpiece.

Instead of traditional board and batten, whiskey barrel wainscoting wraps the room, complete with a ledge perfectly sized for an Old Fashioned. Above, leather wallpaper adds warmth and texture without competing with the showstopping copper tin ceiling. Behind glass doors, a wine cellar showcases bottles from around the globe.

This space transports you to a simpler time, quiets the noise of everyday life, and invites conversation, reflection, and connection.

It’s a vibe.

And without question, one of my favorite projects I’ve ever had the honor of designing. ✨

🥃 Cheers, friends.

She’s backkkkkkkkk!!!!! 🎉

Just shy of three months ago, I very abruptly put my business on hold to focus on what mattered most—my family.

During that time... my #1, Jessica Parrish-Menas stepped up to the plate and handled unfamiliar tasks with grace and professionalism. I also had seven incredible clients who told me they would wait for me to return before starting their renovations… and they did exactly that. I will never be able to fully express how much that meant to me. 🥹

This season has taught me a lot about finding joy in the middle of difficult circumstances. Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan. Sometimes walls come crashing down, timelines get delayed, and you’re forced to live in the mess longer than you ever expected. Sound familiar? 😉

It’s true in life, and it’s true in home renovations.

But I’ve learned that even in the disruption, there can be beauty. Even in the uncertainty, there can be hope. And sometimes the most meaningful transformations happen after the hardest seasons.

Today, I’m officially back to grindin’! 💪🏻✨ I can’t wait to sprinkle lots of JOY all around the triangle - just like this community has done for me!

Jessica will be reaching out to those in the queue by the end of the week to schedule consultations.

Let’s gooooooo!!!!!!! 🩷🏡✨

“The best renovations—whether in a home or in life—often begin after everything has been stripped back to what matters most.” 💕

Happy cinco de-SIGN-o 😉

This room was designed with love, connection, and gathering at its core—a space meant for family moments and planning sessions alike.

My wonderful repeat client has a signature style: a foundation of warm neutrals layered with thoughtful pops of color. To keep the palette from feeling flat, we leaned into a rich mix of textures—bringing in depth, comfort, and visual interest at every turn.

Each piece was intentionally sourced from a variety of vendors to create a timeless, curated design that feels both elevated and inviting. And sometimes, it’s the simplest updates that make the biggest difference—like swapping out the curtain rod and adding blue grasscloth to the built-ins for that perfect finishing touch.

Wishing this home an abundance of blessings and countless new memories in a space designed to be truly lived in. ✨

There’s something really special about designing for a 13-year-old who’s been watching, waiting, and dreaming from the sidelines. She’s not just stepping into a new room—she’s stepping into a space that finally reflects her own voice, her own style, and everything she’s been quietly envisioning all along. ✨

Finley has been following along for years as I designed spaces in her home for her mom—always asking, “When will it be my turn?” 💕 She came prepared, too… Pinterest boards lined up, and a vision ready. This year, for her birthday, that wish came true.

It was so important to create a space that doesn’t just feel perfect for 13, but will carry her beautifully through high school. The duvet truly set the tone—pulling together every color she dreamed of while acting as a piece of abstract art and a focal point that complements (not competes with) the stunning trim wall we added - obsesseddddd with that paint color. (Thank you, Keith for squeezing this in for us!!)

We layered in the softest, most feminine blush tones to tie everything together, and the lighting might be one of my favorite parts— a floral fandelier paired with the most fun stacked petal lamps that completely stole my heart. 😍

We updated the furniture with a fluted white oak bed and dresser, added larger glam nightstands for extra storage, and patiently waited for the perfect scalloped rug to echo the curtains. Every detail works together to make the room feel bigger, brighter, and so beautifully her. We added a shelf above her vanity to add some height, and threw in some beautiful watercolor Charleston prints throughout.

Happy 13th, Finley! 🫶🏻✨🌸

Some traditions are just too meaningful to miss. 💫

So grateful my husband encouraged me to step away for a bit and attend my 14th High Point Market ( )—alongside three incredible women who have shown up so faithfully during this season in so many ways. 🤍🤍🤍

Thank you for being the perfect distraction. I loved soaking in all the beautiful trends and dreaming up ideas for so many future projects. Feeling inspired and refreshed. 🙏🏻💕

We had to complete the Southern boy dream with a bathroom update too. For 25 years it got the job done—but a thoughtful facelift made all the difference.

We carried new tile throughout, leaning into his love for clean lines and neutrals. To add contrast, we installed a walnut grooved floating vanity with smart storage for the everyday essentials. A simple floating shelf keeps towels or extra supplies within reach without cluttering the space.

The quartzite countertop completely steals the show. We finished it off with updated lighting and a modern shower system, including a handheld wand that makes cleaning as easy as it is functional.

Somewhere between boyhood and grown-up style—his space is starting to reflect it.

Thank you, Tranquility Builders for bringing this design to life! 🩵🤍🩶
